Take time to Smell the Flowers- Stick it Down- September Single Page Challenge

This months sketch challenge features our darling Lily. She is now considered a senior (like her owner :) and finds enjoyment walking with me each morning as we inspect the gardens. On this day I caught her pausing and talking the time to smell the flowers, a lesson we can all appreciate!

Stick it Down- Single Page Challenge August 2021

Life is definitely a Journey, a journey that never stops. Must move forward, never backward. Must draw all the positives from every situation, not the negatives and most of all must maintain balance.

This months sketch followed my my take using Graphic 45 paper-line.

Stick it Down July Single Page Challenge: Covid Hair "Take 2"

Using this months fabulous sketch I created this single page layout which is a selfie of the Covid Hair during the second wave lock down. Hair quickly becomes out of control, gets curly and plentiful!

Products used: 49th Market Vintage Artistry paper line and embellishments; lots of pop dots for dimension, black soot distress ink for edges and some sewing with machine.

Hope you get some inspiration from this post, create and join into the monthly single page challenge over at Stick it Down

Stick it Down- June 2021

This months single page sketch challenge

My take is using one of Virginia Nebel's designs for a Crop and Create event.

Hope you like this 8.5x11 single page!

Can't wait to see your take.

Love to Create

I participated in a virtual crop to celebrate National Scrapbook Day this year and with the left overs from one of the on line classes I created this single page layout. My inspiration came from pinterest called "layered works" I looked for the the sample that was closest to my take but I couldn't find one as I mostly use the samples to start the juices flowing to create something of my own.

I used lots of different textures of stamping, ink blots, sewing and loose thread. As well as created layers and popped up features for extra dimension.

I hope this gets your creative juices flowing ♡♡
