"Just Be"

When I look at this person I think, how lucky am I to have her in my life! Chris is one of the kindest, gentlest, generous people I know.

To honor this wonderful lady I featured her on this single page lay-out using  a sketch from Stuck?! Sketches

My Take

The tag to the right pulls out.

I used Bo Bunny C"est La Vie paper and embellishments.

Summer Time Celebrations

Summer weather brings many celebrations such as graduations, weddings, birthdays, etc

This is a very simple and elegant card that can hold a personal note, a gift card or money.

I used a simple lime cardstock for the card base, 40lb Vellum for the stamping, white embossing powder, sheer ribbon and the following Magenta Stamp.

I used a spellbinder die to cut the template where my sentiment will go once I decide where it will go, as well as a template for the inside to put my personal note to the receiver.

Along with a little texture using writing, UTEE and distress inks it makes the perfect pick-me-up card

Magenta Stamps:

Uncomplicated

With so much stress, responsibilities and complications in our life, it is so difficult to find simplicity and "uncomplicated" peace.

When my daughter took this photo of our front yard I HAD to scrapbook it!

So a HUGE shout out to all you Mom's out there! Go find some uncomplicated space today and enjoy, YOU deserve it!!

Using Sketchabilities #138 Sketch for the month this is my creation

To create this I used Kaiser Craft 0.75$ Collection, Modeling Paste, Tim Holtz Stencil, Tim Holtz Mini Tattered Flowers, Vintage Photo Distress Ink and BoBunny Double Dot

The Doctor is in Da House!

When I had my shop I could always count on one person to liven up the place...Nicole. On this particular day I wanted to have a fun video to feature some wonderful Ranger products and we needed a mad scientist to play the roll. Only one person I knew who could do the job and she was not a disappointment!

Used Fancy Pants Meology line, Tim Holtz Rub-On's and some bling from Hero Arts

"In This Moment"

Looking through my Mother-in-Laws photo's I found this picture of mt Father-in-Law that she took. I was completely amazed by the beautiful photo as Howard NEVER poses for a photo! I am truly blessed to have the in-laws I do and I give thanks everyday.

Using a sketch from @Let's Get Sketchy  I created this lay-out that I absolutely LOVE! I have been saving this collection from @Kaiser Crafts for some time. It's called Art of Life and has shades of the same color throughout {Monochromatic colors are all the colors (tints, tones, and shades) of a single hue}. I also used Tim @Sizzix dies for the Elegant Flourishes and Pediments; feathers from a @Spellbinder Die

Foodie Love Book

One of the Crew Challenges for Canvas Corp Brands for May was creating around Recipes.

Loving "old" things like I do and transforming them into something new is what I do best!

So I decided to purchase an old hard cover book for $2 and transform it into a Smash Book/Mini Album/Scrapbook/Recipe Book....whatever you want to call it! It will house all my favorite memories, past and to come, around favorite recipes, "Secret" Recipes, family/friend moments that involve great company and food.....This is my "Foodie Love Book"

The cover is a mix media creations using Tattered Angels Products. This was so much fun!

To view the step by step process please click on this link to the You Tube Video.

The Inside of the book was created using products from the Farmhouse Kitchen Collection. This is a BEAUTIFUL collection!

To view the inside please go to this You Tube video.

I appreciate you taking the time to view the creations I've done and I always look forward to your comments!
