October Stick it Down Single Page Challenge: Momma Love

Last year mom visited us and I was crafting away so I thought she could use a break from her knitting to paint some wooden tags for me. I think she rather enjoyed herself <3

Paper line and embellishments used were Simple Stories Vintage Weathered Garden Collection. A star stencil from my stash and some distress oxides inks. Of course a little stitching found its way in.

Halloween card/envelope sets

I am really enjoying getting use out of every scrap of paper these days and creating matching envelopes to go with the cards. I get such fantastic comments from he post masters at the local office when mailing that I can't help think the receiver and postal delivery person will also get enjoyment out of them. It's like receiving 2 cards- an outer and an inner.

These cards can be found either locally at Granny's Antiques and Gifts in Antigonish or on line at Mavenfair. Since there is often only one of each kind, there will be different ones at each location.

Both cards and envelopes are very dimensional, many have gold embossing on them and they are all decorated on both the back and the inside.

Here is a sample of the dimensions:

Products uses: older paper line by Paper Phenomenon called All Hallowseve, Tim Holtz black card stock, stamps, paper dolls, die cuts, gold embossing powder.

Stick it Down October Card Challenge

 Hi everyone,

I've taken a venture off of the Single Page Team and am now on the Card Team. You will still see a few single page samples up for October and November but then I'll be strictly over on the card side.

I am honored to be this months feature designer for the sketch of the month.

Sketches for me are the catalyst for creative freedom.  Sometimes I will follow the sketch to a "T" but often I will take just one element and create something that doesn't look exactly like the sketch.

This month's take is where I took one element (the sentiment band) and created something totally different. Love how it turned out! Loads of dimension that can't be seen in a photo.

This is a card AND envelope duo! I used an older line called All Halloweves by Paper Phenomenon. Both started with that sentiment band idea. Along with the paper line I also used a lot of Tim Holtz products (stamps, black card stock and paper dolls) as well as embossing gold powder.

Is is just one of 8 card/envelope sets created using this paper line and like embellishments. Check them all out on another post released soon!
