For the love of Lilies

One of my favourite flowers has to be the Lily. It comes in so many colors and sizes and they bloom every year with little maintenance.

This page was done with an older line by My Minds Eye called Find Your Wings and Fly. Many embellishments came with this line. I'm sure I'll be using it again with another lay-out! I also used Heartfelt Creations Sunrise Lily stamp and dies. as it matched perfectly.

Thank you Cards

I spent the afternoon playing with some new stamps and inks from Altenew. I absolutely love their products!

Featured on these Thank you cards is "Bold Blossoms" and the ink colors from the Coral and Green palette. I used a die to trim the front down, WOW embossing powder for the stars, the background "thank you" as well as the sentiment inside the card (not shown) is with another stamp brand. I used BoBunny pattern paper for the background paper ont he front as it matched perfectly.

Winter Blues

As we enter the snowiest season in Nova Scotia I found this photo from Christmas 2015. It was taken in the moment and I never thought of it again until I was scanning through my photo files. It makes me want to breathe and exhale.

I decided to participate in a few challenges with the photo this month.

Challenge 1:  The first challenge is with Dusty Attic. I love their chipboard products which I used on my layout. I used the following products:  Corner Flourish # 4, String Frames and  Word Pack #10. The other part of their challenge was to use blue and/or to follow the sketch...I did it all!

Challenge 2: Is with Scrap Our Stash This is a fun blog that gives you options with a Tic-Tac-Toe game.

Sweet Sexy Momma

Happy New Year!!

This page may get me disowned but I've been hanging onto this fun picture of my Mother way too long <3

I used a paper pack from Fancy Pants called Flutter. It has beautiful pastel colours along with two foil gold papers. I also used some embellishments from a past line from MME called Jubilee. They matched perfectly. From my Creative Embellishment stash some pieces of chipboard that fit rather well.

The inspiration for this layout sketch was this one posted by Creative Scrapbooker Magazine:
