Last year mom visited us and I was crafting away so I thought she could use a break from her knitting to paint some wooden tags for me. I think she rather enjoyed herself <3
Paper line and embellishments used were Simple Stories Vintage Weathered Garden Collection. A star stencil from my stash and some distress oxides inks. Of course a little stitching found its way in.
This is such a sweet and heartfelt page. I love the story behind it—having your mom paint the tags makes it even more meaningful. The Vintage Weathered Garden collection is a perfect choice, and the stitching and distress inks add so much warmth and texture. You can really feel the love and memories in this layout.
