Excited for March sketch reveal and my take on it. Took several days to pull together as I knew I wanted "rainbow" but other then that I wasn't sure. I LOVE how it turned out!
Here's the Sketch AND....
Here is my take!
First I started with a stencil from Pink Fresh Studio's called Geo Arch and using the following colors created a wonderful base directly on the card- Distress Oxides in Fired Brick, Spiced Marmalade, Fossilized Amber, Peeled Paint, Uncharted Mariner, Seedless Perserves.
I then cut out a panel from Pink Fresh Stitched Scallop Rectangle, backed it with 29lb vellum (as I wanted to still see the design behind) and popped it up on foam tape to create a shaker element.
I used dies from Concord & 9th Oh Hey You stamp and dies set; Hero Arts YAY! Birthday Bundle; Woodware Bog Bubble Craft Die and WR Memory Keepers 1" and 5/8" circle punch for the other elements.
With so much color going on in the backgroun I decided to leave some elements as Black and White which I loved in the end.
Stamped a big "HOORAY" on the inside with some washi tape and also used the same washi to decorate the envelope a tad.
