Halloween card/envelope sets

I am really enjoying getting use out of every scrap of paper these days and creating matching envelopes to go with the cards. I get such fantastic comments from he post masters at the local office when mailing that I can't help think the receiver and postal delivery person will also get enjoyment out of them. It's like receiving 2 cards- an outer and an inner.

These cards can be found either locally at Granny's Antiques and Gifts in Antigonish or on line at Mavenfair. Since there is often only one of each kind, there will be different ones at each location.

Both cards and envelopes are very dimensional, many have gold embossing on them and they are all decorated on both the back and the inside.

Here is a sample of the dimensions:

Products uses: older paper line by Paper Phenomenon called All Hallowseve, Tim Holtz black card stock, stamps, paper dolls, die cuts, gold embossing powder.

Fernwood Cards x 40

The raining weather is perfect for crafting! This time of year my extra time is spent in the garden but when the God's give you rain you craft!

After completing the Fernwood Album and Tag Album with Vicki I decided to use all the left over bits and pieces for cards. I purchased the card and envelope pack and went to town!

Hope this post inspires you to use all your left over bits and pieces from  whatever paperpacks you have.

I used a variety of wood chips  and word stickers from Tim Holtz collections and some Gina K word stickers to complete the cards.

Mother's Day Cards: Pear Tree Treasures Design Team

Well gang this is the last of 4 projects created with Carta Bella Farmhouse Market Collection!

As you can see you will be able to use up every scrap if you follow along my idea path on how use this collection. I love getting the most out of each pack of paper and all it's embellishments!

You can find what maybe left from this collection over at Pear Tree Treasures by following this LINK

I was able to create 4 Mother's Day cards (5x5) AND the envelopes to match! I did use the envelope punch board (which is one of my most favorite tools) for this easy envelopes.

The Pear Tree has the mini envelope board and reach out to them if you want to regular one. The Pear Tress prices are fabulous!

As always I always love to hear from you and let me know what you liked about this project that may have inspired you to create.

Getting out of a Creative Funk

Who hasn't felt like they have no mojo to create???

For me it tends to hit after I've been on a creative craze where I've spit out a number of projects.

When the "funk" hits me my go to is either to create from premade items, use items I've already primed (like jelly prints) or sit and produce some items to have on hand (die cuts, jelly prints, etc).

Yesterday I used jelly prints I had on hand and a number of dies (Tim Holtz birds, frames, flowers/ stamp frames, Tim Holtz peel and stick sentiments/ prima waxes/ Tim Holtz distress inks and mini brads)

22 Cards made! Loads of dimensions. Can't see the sparkle and shine in the photo's but in person it is very pretty.
