Layout and Card Combo

Paper line used: Stamperia Patchwork Collection, along with some items from my stash. I used Vintage Photo Distress Ink for the edges, Crackle Accents, and several circle dies in my collection and layered many elements to provide dimensional aspects.

Inspiration came from the weekly sketch challenge on My Stamping Studio facebook page.

Single Page Lay-out

We'll as parents we only want our children to be Healthy, Happy, Loved and Safe. This young lady makes our young man feel these things.

Introduced, across many miles by photo, was a moment of happiness captured that had to be scrapbooked.

Card: Make a Wish

Girls Weekend

Getting away with a Bestie is always a great thing! Captured the beginning of a great trip below with a lunch at a vineyard in Wolfville Nova Scotia.

I used the paper line from Paper Phenomenon called Flutter and Blooms, a little sewing and some bling to finish.

It's soft pastel colors are very famine, gentle and reminds me of wallpaper, which always brings back nostalgic feels <3

Wood Art- The POSSIBILITIES

I absolutely love creating on wood! I look for old items that I can refurbish into something unique and useful.

Found an old cupboard door at year sale and it was actually the knob that inspired me. It did sit in our garage for a year. We moved last year and when my husband was cleaning out the garage it was going to "burn it"...imagine! So off it went to the storage unit for another 8 months :)

Sometimes you just have to wait until the inspiration hits you! Hence the title of this piece, POSSIBILITIES.

Getting there!

Completed Project with the original door knob! 

You can hang this as Art, you can actually build a box and attach the door to it to give you a small cabinet. Door measures 15" x 23"

Calm

I love all the photos's my daughter shares of her bunny, Thumper. He is very photogenic and the scenery in the photo's are what really makes me want to scrap them...he's very cute too!

The Paperline and embellishments are from Simple Stories Vintage Travelers...love these warm, soft colors which matched the sunset and the colors in Thumper perfectly.

Added a little sewing and ground espresso distress ink to edges for the final touches.

The Simple Things

What can I say except, I love this human! She is everything and more. My only hope is  that she knows it and continues to be strong, independent, a believer of all that if pure and good.
